As a potato specialist in the food service market, we want to meet the expectations and requirements of our customers in the field of safety and quality.

Various established standards promote quality, safety and efficiency. These standards are registered with a certification and show that we as a supplier are committed to quality and continuous improvement. CêlaVita has various certificates.

Certificates

In addition to the certifications below, CêlaVita is also registered with Sedex, ISO 14001 and all growers are Global G.A.P. certified.

BRC

BRC stands for British Retail Consortium. This UK-based organization sets global safety and quality standards for all industries through protocols and guidelines. This is important because food safety guidelines protect everyone in the supply chain, from consumers to brands.

IFS

The International Featured Standard (IFS) is a standard recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) for manufacturers. IFS focuses on food safety and product quality management in the production of foods and ingredients. The standard contains many requirements regarding compliance with customer specifications

Organic

The European Organic Quality Mark is a quality mark for organic products, which applies to all EU Member States. The quality mark indicates that the product complies with EU rules for organic farming. Organic farming is a form of farming that takes the environment and animal welfare into account as much as possible. In organic farming, for example, no chemical pesticides and artificial fertilizers are used. Also, the ingredients must not contain genetically modified organisms. A food may only be called organic if the production process meets legal requirements and the entire chain is certified.
